My goal for 2018 is to take more pictures of the shop before and during the open houses. Sometimes, I get so caught up in getting the shop ready, and not having enough time to just stop, and take some pictures.
I had one dresser that got a lot of buzz, but I realized that I did not have the best full picture of it, but I did like one of the detail pictures . . .
This is a piece that I used a new paint on. The company is The Chippy Barn and they are a local company. The color is Garden Swing. It is the beautiful seafoamy, minty green. I’ll be using it in the future because it is just so beautiful . . . compliments the new Rifle Paper Company wrapping paper, right?!
This piece was partially done in the same paint line. The top is General Finishes Lamp Black.
One of my other fave pieces is the dresser I converted into a hallway/mudroom shoe/shelf organizer. It is just a fun piece. Perfect for shoes and stuff and a drawer for hidden goodies.
Here is a couple pull backs of the shop.
And, remember how I sold my last bike display? Well, I made something new for the new bike and I painted the bike black to match my colors- red/black/white.
And, not furniture, but a little something to make the shop feel at home is the big clock. What a statement piece.
I did a few more pictures, but you get the idea.
The January open house was a little bit quiet, but not so quiet. Looking forward to seeing some friendly faces next month . . . as well as any new faces that discover us. The next open house is February 2-4. Mark your calendars and bring a friend.
Lots of Love,
